Visit to Galkayo and Garowe
In Mid-October Over 7000 people were evicted from Lascanood majority of them hailing from south west State of Somalia. The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management of South West State was in the forefront in finding solution to displacement caused by the forceful evictions and was part of the ministerial taskforce committee appointed by the President of South West State to respond to the situation of the evictees from Lascanood.
