A landmark milestone was reached by the South West State in forming the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management (MoHADM). In the short period of the ministry’s existence, we have made every effort to deliver on our mandate amid various difficulties, challenges and setbacks.
Our cherished state is bedeviled by high levels of poverty and insecurity, contrasted with the ministry’s limited financial, technical and human resource capacity – the very hallmarks for any successful institution.
